Some of you who operate a home business have submitted profiles of your business to me. That process essentially involved answering a set list of questions and sending me your responses by email. For those profiles I approved, the home business profile was placed on the
Home Business Profiles page.
Of course, technology has improved since then. If you've never submitted your home business profile the old way, you still can. However, now there's an even better way to do it, by way of a new feature on About.com called "Show and Tell".
The Show and Tell feature allows you to tell your story, include a link to your home business site or blog and even upload a photo or two - maybe of yourself, your logo, or whatever is appropriate for your story.
Even if you've already submitted your home business profile the old-fashioned way, you're still welcome to tell your story with Show and Tell. And if you haven't submitted info on your home business yet, now you have an even better way to do it.
Just go to the
Tell Us About Your Home Business page and click the
Submit a Home Business Entry link to complete the form.
All submissions are moderated by me and are subject to approval. All submissions must be in English. Otherwise, all you need to do is follow the instructions on the form.
To see the entries that have already been approved, click the
See Published Submissions button near the upper right of the form page. I submitted an entry for my own home business to get the ball rolling so you'll get an idea of what your entry will look like once it's approved.
It's a great way to get your home business in front of other people, and also an opportunity for you to tell us how you did it and offer advice to others who are thinking about starting a business.
